It’s still not too late to register to vote or update your information if you’ve moved. Here’s where you can get the latest information about your voter eligibility, ballot drop off and polling locations.
There are a couple statewide ballot initiatives for you to do your homework on this year. Did you get your Blue Book in the mail yet? Nonpartisan staff of the Colorado Legislative Council prepare a voter guide with easy-to-understand explanations of each ballot initiative.
A number of school districts have elections for their local board of education or increasing the local mill levy or authorizing local bonds. If you don’t have your ballot yet, you can use this tool to look up a sample ballot for your address. This will give you time to do more research.
Here’s where you can find locations to drop off your ballot. Just be sure you drop it off by November 5. Even if your kids are too young to vote, talk to them about this important civic duty and model good citizenship by inviting them to go with you to mail your ballot or drop-off your ballot.
