Today the legislature sent HB-1262 - legislation to make tuition free full-day kindergarten a reality for all Colorado families - to Governor Polis for his signature. He is expected to sign the bill into law soon.

Parents, educators, community members, and even kindergartners worked hard to make sure policymakers knew that full-day kindergarten is a priority for Coloradans. They have testified at legislative hearings, spoken to the media, met with Governor Polis, attended Advocacy Day, signed and collected signatures on petitions, authored pieces in the newspaper, contacted their legislators -- the list goes on and on. All of this hard work made an impact! ALL COLORADO FAMILIES will have access to tuition-free full-day kindergarten this fall!
