On Saturday, families from across Denver participated in Stand for Children Colorado's Splash into Summer picnic. The picnic was a fun way for families to gather, kick off summer break, and get resources to keep kids engaged in learning all summer.

Over 100 attendees were provided resources to support summer reading and summer learning. Click here to download a reading resources handout. Participants also received copies of the Colorado State Library's amazing day-by-day literacy activity calendar. Families were also able to take home dozens of books thanks to a generous donation from  EPIC (Executives Partnering to Invest in Children).
