Our response to the State Board of Education’s approval of high school graduation guidelines

Stand for Children Colorado issued the following statement today in response to the State Board of Education’s approval of high school graduation guidelines.

“We view the board’s actions yesterday as the start of a conversation about how to ensure a high school diploma is meaningful. Students need to have confidence that upon graduation they will be ready for college without remediation or will be prepared to enter the workforce or the military. At Stand Colorado, we are laser focused on this objective and will be watching closely to make sure we don’t backtrack on our promise to Colorado students.”
