Show your support for Full-Day Kindergarten

Studies have shown that full-day kindergarten leads to many positive outcomes for kids - like higher reading and math achievement, better social skills, and earlier identification of learning challenges.

Governor Polis signed HB-1262 - legislation to make tuition free full-day kindergarten a reality for all Colorado families - into law in the Spring of 2019. This means that all Colorado families now have access to tuition free full-day kindergarten.

 Help Improve graduation Rates

A student who is on track to graduate by the end of their freshman year is four times more likely to graduate than their off-track peers. Ninthy grade on track programs identify vulnerable students and use targeted supports like additional instruction time, tutoring and counseling during the 9th grade.

In Colorado, more than 10,000 students drop out of high school every year, contributing to a statewide graduation rate of 80.7%. Unfortunately, these numbers drop even more for students of color.

Tell policymakers you support programs to make sure 9th graders are supported and on track.
