Safe Signatures

School Funding | 04/26/2020

In order to ensure the Invest in Education Act is on the ballot in 2020, our campaign must collect a valid signature from 237,000 Arizonans. We launched our signature gathering efforts in mid-February and instantly saw a strong response. Arizona voters know how important it is to strengthen our public schools and fix our education funding problem.

And now, more than ever, we realize how important teachers are. But by mid-March - because COVID-19 reached our state - signature gathering began to slow. That's where you come in.

Will you pledge to add your signature (safely) to help make this ballot measure a reality?

We're taking all necessary steps to keep people safe and to stop the spread of the virus. We're working with doctors to make sure our signature gathering methods are safe.

We're putting notices up in neighborhoods where we'll be collecting signatures to make sure everyone understands our safety instructions.

We're using phone banks and texting to help people request a petition and remind friends and family to add signatures safely. Put simply: we are finding creative ways to push forward and collect signatures (from the safety of our own homes) because restoring funding to our schools is too important to postpone.
