“Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi. You’re my only hope. Will you donate $5 or more to Stand for Children to help ensure every child graduates from high school prepared for college?”

Okay, that might not have been the exact line from Star Wars Episode IV. And maybe it’s unfair to compare Stand for Children’s work in Arizona to Princess Leia’s struggle against the Empire.

But like Obi-Wan Kenobi, there’s an important role for you to play here. Nonprofits like Stand for Children rely on donations from people like you who believe in our cause. Truly, we’re only as strong as our supporters.

When the new Star Wars comes out tomorrow, you can know your contribution to Stand has helped us strike back against educational inequity in Arizona.

So while you may not be our only hope, you are one of them. We count on your help to keep our organization running, our members organized, and our public officials held accountable.

We’re running out of time. Can we count on your help before the end of the year? Here’s what your donation will provide:

A gift of $20 can help a parent prepare to speak at a school board meeting… Click here to donate $20 >>

A gift of $50 can help parents receive detailed trainings on the education system in their district… Click here to donate $50 >>

A gift of $75 can help 25 parents make a plan for improving opportunities for students in their city… Click here to donate $75 >>

May the force be with you this holiday,

Rebecca Gau, Executive Director
